Can anyone help me determine what is needed (signs, barricades, flagger, etc) for a temporary road lane closure? We are demolishing a 5-story building which is approximately 8 feet from the road - fence, grass, sidewalk in between. The road is a two-lane, two-direction city/residential road with an additional parking lane on the side where the building is located.
The concern is that bricks from the front of the building may land on cars as they drive by. Previous contractors had simply a temporary chain-link fence closing off the parking lane, no signs, no flagger.
Thanks for any/all help.

Your best bet is to consult the MUTCD.
