Remember the classic images of 1930's construction workers posing high up on a skyscraper while having their lunch? Some modern workers are in hot water for trying to re-create those images - even though they say they were wearing fall harnesses and taking safety precautions. Posing construction workers got in trouble
What do you think?!

I feel that it was most likely all meant in good fun and their team was competent enough to use safety gear as it does appear that some of them have harnesses on. However, they still were creating a hazard by improperly positioning themselves on a beam that had violated set regulations and could have caused bigger problems for the company as a whole. While I can appreciate that they wanted to create an authentic tribute piece by actually having the workers on a real building, rules in safety are designed specifically with the well being of everyone in mind. No matter how safe you think you are performing an innocent act that goes against what has been outlined, you really take a gamble with your own and others lives in doing so.
