SCAFFOLD SAFETY

The erection of scaffold is a skilled task, which should only be carried out by trained and competent persons. No one must alter or modify the ‘Green Tagged’ scaffold other than the personnel qualified from Scaffold Contractor.

If guard-rails are required to be temporarily removed to facilitate loading / off-loading on the scaffold, workers must use the full body harness and should only be under the strict supervision of a knowledgeable and experienced Foreman / Charge-hands.
