Hi Jeff in the neighboring buckeye state. Welcome to the safety community social network. I am new to this social network and invite you to add me as a friend. As a safety trainer I teach OSHA, DEP, DOT and MHSA courses. Let me know if you would like more information or have any questions. Frank.

Jeff, thanks for your note on my recent blog post. Have you joined our LinkedIn group? There's a link to it on the main page of this community. I have noticed a few members of the LinkedIn group posting jobs or asking about jobs via the LinkedIn group discussion forum. I think it's also a good idea to start a discussion in the forum here about job postings, jobs needed/wanted, etc. Everyone can use all the help we can get in these times.

Hi Jeff! Thanks for welcoming me to the safety community. Bullard has an excellent health and wellness program, with a variety of activities held throughout the year. Earlier this month we held our annual health fair, with representatives from various health organizations in the area, including the hospital, our medical insurance comany, dental insurance company, massage therapy associates, registered dietician, and so on. They measured blood pressure, body fat, bone density, cholestrol, glucose. Healthy eating is encouraged through a weekly book club - reading "Water With Lemon." There is a smoking cessation program. The cafeteria provides menu selections that are tagged healthy choices. Employees can participate in a number of activities that when completed result in a cash contribution to their health savings account. dk

Does your organization have a health and wellness program? Would you be open to sharing some information about it with me if you do? Thanks! Jay Rohman - www.EncouragingSafety.com
