Videos and anecdotes

I've talked before in discussions about the use of silly, funny videos before, during, and after training to keep the associates entertained and also drive future training. If you would like to see some copies of videos that I use, email me at jbeck@srob.com and I'll share them. I'm sure many of you have seen and used them as well. Maybe you have some I don't. Let's make each other laugh.

Training Powerpoint

Some people have been asking for a copy of the Communicating for Safety Excellence powerpoint that was discussed in the Supervisor training discussion. I can't get it to upload correctly here. If you would like a copy of it, just email me at jbeck@srob.com. I'd be glad to share it along with other things. Thanks

Any info you may have on "Gov. or Private" grants to further our education would be helpful. I am looking for funding to take the OSHA 501 & 500 class & Certified Safety Professional class. I have a 10 & 30 hr. OSHA cert. as well as CPR First Aid. Unfortunately I have been layed off and lost my education benefits in the middle of my training. I did complete my "Leadership in the workplace class." On the job training will only take you so far, 20 years in the field will give you real world experience but we need to be certified by OSHA.
Thank you for your time!

red exit lights vs green exit lights

I am wanting to know  if I should I buy red exit signs or green exit signs? Does OSHA care? Is there one that is more accepted in the mechanic industry? Thanks Mary
