Tracking Hurricane Ike

Living along the gulf coast has put me in a network with many wonderful people. Additionally, as you live on the gulf coast, you learn to become a amateur meteorologist; with that you acquire numerous websites that help track storms. Recently someone provided this website to me. As the Safety "czar" for my company, I have to watch out for not only my family, but my work family as well. I have found http://www.stormpulse.com/fullscreen/current to be a very beneficial, interactive website. It's… Continue

Hurricane Gustav...

For those of you along the Gulf Coast, or those who have interests thereof, all eyes should be on Gustav.

There are several sites that work well with keeping tabs on the latest. weatherunderground.com is great, especially for checking out the latest computer models. Another model to keep tabs on weather related issues is http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php. Of course you all know about Weather.com as well as keeping abreast of your local weather channels.

As of the… Continue

Safety - A Prerequisite

Whether working at home or outside, to observe safety should be our pre-requisite. The employer before anything must be sure of the safety of its employees especially the ones working in mines or any other hazardous places. We, all must ensure to follow safety rules and abide by them to avoid accidents. There are risks involved in certain jobs or workings but for the fear of being hurt or any threat to life, we, cannot stop working. To avoid this we must wear safety suits or make use of safety…See More
