Combustible Dust Testing (Appendix E) Consultancy - Nanoview Associates LLC

This is Robert T Dombrowski - President / Principal Scientist of Nanoview Associates (NVA) LLC

Nanoview Associates (NVA) LLC offers a wide range of scientific / technical consulting services that help the firm's clients achieve their technical & business goals. Look at my LinkedIn Profile - Robert T Dombrowski.

My firm's major target markets are Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Personal Care, Consumer Products, Advanced Materials & Green Materials - Bioplastics & Biodegradable Packaging.

One outstanding service that my firm, NVA, offers (& this may be of interest to many Safety Community members) is counseling clients on how to come into compliance with the Combustible Dust Testing portion of the existing OSHA Combustible Dust Directive - National Emphasis Program (NEP). NVA helps all companies in all industries that produce / manufacture or handle potential combustible dusts with Combustible Dust Testing issues - especially those industries directly targeted in the OSHA Combustible Dust NEP.

Many times clients are confused on what OSHA wants from them to comply with Appendix E (Combustible Dust Testing Guide Lines) after an OSHA inspector has visited their site. The clients many times want to be pro-active & want to carry out Combustible Dust Testing before an OSHA inspection occurs - OSHA looks favorably on a pro-active stance when it comes to Combustible Dust issues. Clients are also many times unfamiliar with what testing is done by OSHA in their Salt Lake City Lab after they take a dust sample or where to find an independent Combustible Dust Testing Lab. NVA helps clients with all these issues. NVA also sources a reliable Combustible Dust Testing Lab to do the testing for the client (in a cost effective manner tailored to the client's specific situation) & acts as the client's Project Manager / Liason in interactions with the testing lab.

Nanoview Associates has extensive experience with Combustible Dust Testing - I created & implemented & managed (Technical Program / Project Manager & Business Development Manager) an extensive Combustible Dust Testing Program for a nation wide network of Analytical / Environmental Testing / Materials Characterization Laboratories.

If your organization or any other member of the Safety Community is interested in Nanoview Associates LLC's Combustible Dust Counseling / Consulting or other Scientific / Technical Consulting Services - the firm's contact info is shown below:

red exit lights vs green exit lights

I am wanting to know  if I should I buy red exit signs or green exit signs? Does OSHA care? Is there one that is more accepted in the mechanic industry? Thanks Mary
