Promoting Construction Safety Advocacy in Africa

Construction is considered to contribute a disproportionate number of injuries to workers and environment and mostly in Africa. The safety risk involved in Construction is basically attributable to the physical workplace, nature of work operations, construction methods, materials, equipments and physical properties of project itself. However, more of this problems resulting from poor or non compliance of safety regulations are also attributable to lack of management commitment and responsibility, etc.
