Comment by Robert Perry on April 26, 2012 at 3:18pm The extreme example of mental health issues in the workplace is workplace violence. Every few weeks there's another example of someone reacting to an unhealthy workplace environment with violence or an employee bringing frustration with their personal problems into the workplace in a violent manner.

One of the benefits our organization offers to all employees is an Employee Assistance Program where our employees can call into a third party administrator and receive up to six counceling sessions to help them deal with their personal life issues and hopefully help them achieve that healthy mental well being.
